AUSTIN WILLIAMSON DONATIONS

In memory of and to honor Austin Williamson, Norwood School would like to thank his family and friends for the incredible contributions to Norwood School for the past 10 years.

Austin was tragically killed in a motor vehicle accident in October of 2012.

Austin's parents, Bud and Lisa and close friends, Rod and Debbie Hawken, organized an annual golf tournament to raise money to give back to the community of schools Austin attended here in Wetaskiwin.

Austin was a student at Norwood for his elementary school years.

In total, Norwood has received $30,000 dollars from the tournament. This money been has been used to purchase library books, a laminator and various music, sports, and electronic equipment. 

This year the money was used to create an outdoor seating arrangement with benches and a table.

We at Norwood, are excited to have this beautiful space, not only for our school community, but the surrounding community that enjoy the Norwood School playground.
